#What is Good Lock
Good Lock works on any Android phone - not just Samsung Galaxy. If Samsung's Good Lock is not available for your device, this app gives you the same kind of lock screen customization without the Galaxy requirement.
Built by an independent developer since March 15, 2015, it lets you freely combine clock, calendar, schedule, memo and music player widgets with AI-generated wallpapers.
It is a separate app from Samsung Electronics' Good Lock module suite, which shares the name but launched a year later, in March 2016. Good Lock is free, needs no sign-up, and does not collect personal data. See how the two differ →

Yes. Good Lock works on any Android device, regardless of manufacturer - not just Samsung Galaxy.

Samsung's Good Lock isn't available for my phone. Can I use this instead?
Yes. Samsung's Good Lock only supports Galaxy devices, so it cannot be installed on other phones or on unsupported models. Good Lock has no such device restriction and works on Android devices generally.

Can I use it on an iPhone?
Good Lock is an Android-only service. On iPhone, replacing the lock screen is not permitted by Apple's platform policy.

What widgets can I put on my lock screen?
You can use the clock, calendar (schedule), memo and music player widgets that Good Lock provides. Each widget comes in a range of designs, so you can combine them with a wallpaper you like to build a style of your own.

Can wallpapers change automatically?
Yes. You can show a different wallpaper each time you turn on your phone, or let wallpapers rotate continuously while the screen stays on, like a digital photo frame.

Can I launch my favorite apps from the lock screen?
Yes. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open Mini Home, which holds your most-used apps. You can also double-tap the lock screen (Tok Tok) to instantly launch an app you chose in advance.

Yes, every feature is free to use, and no account sign-up is required.

Does it collect personal data?
No. Since Good Lock requires no account sign-up, collecting personal data is impossible by design. This also means that if you uninstall Good Lock, everything you set up and wrote in the app is permanently deleted. See our Privacy Policy page for details.
